Better Buildings program

Get funding to complete residential or commercial building energy upgrades

You can get low-cost funding under the Better Buildings program. This will help you pay for qualifying energy upgrades to your residential or commercial building.

ZeroPath rebates for new home construction

Get $10,000 when you construct an energy-efficient new home that performs 60 per cent better than the 2015 National Building Code.

Get $5,000 when your newly constructed energy-efficient new home performs 50 per cent better than code.

Commercial energy rebates

  • commercial;
  • institutional;
  • community
  • First Nations government-owned; and

Insulation and air sealing upgrades

Get money back when you add insulation to your walls, foundation or attic.

You can get:

  • up to $12,000 for insulating above-ground walls.
  • up to $12,000 for insulating below-ground walls.
  • $2,500 for insulating the attic.
  • $2,000 for insulating slabs or floor systems.
  • $5,000 for air sealing your home.
