Ecosystems of the Yukon Arctic Region: A guide to identification

This guide consolidates historic and contemporary work into a harmonized classification standard providing resource managers with a common language to describe the Yukon arctic ecosystems. It organizes current understanding of the ecological relationships among vegetation communities, landscape position, soil and climate. The guide uses the Yukon Bioclimate Ecosystem Classification system, which is the foundation of the Yukon Ecological and Landscape Classification Program.
