272 people responded to the web survey.

2,433 Yukoners were eligible to respond to the phone survey. Refusal rate for the phone survey was 10.6 per cent and the weighted response rate was 60.2 per cent.

  • 71.8 per cent of Yukoners listen to local radio
  • 58.9 per cent of Yukoners read a local newspaper once a week
  • 15.3 per cent regularly watch Yukon television programming
  • 38.9 per cent of respondents consider information found in Yukon government ads to be very trustworthy
What was this engagement about? 

This engagement asks Yukoners how they get information, what Yukon government advertisements they remember seeing, and how they prefer to receive information from the government.  

How will my input make a difference?

Input into this survey will help the Government of Yukon determine how to best communicate with the public. The results will help the Yukon government effectively spend its advertising dollars, and ensure that we are using the most appropriate channels to share information about government programs and services with Yukoners.
