The City of Whitehorse and Government of Yukon are partnering on the HART: Combined Intersection Upgrades project. This joint initiative will focus on improving the Range Road & Two Mile Hill Road and Alaska Highway & Hamilton Boulevard / Two Mile Hill Road intersections.
That is where the HART comes in – H for Hamilton Boulevard, A for Alaska Highway, R for Range Road and T for Two Mile Hill.
The HART: Combined Intersection Upgrades will be developed based on technical analysis and meaningful community and stakeholder engagement. Using input from both perspectives, the project team will develop a conceptual design that meets the goals and objectives of both the City and Government of Yukon.
The process to create the final design will be completed over the next nine months, with a variety of engagement activities and opportunities to provide input.
