The Government of Yukon has operated a website at gov.yk.ca since 1997. The existing design of gov.yk.ca has been in place since 2007. In the coming months, more pages from gov.yk.ca will be adapted and moved to the new website.

Costs of Yukon.ca include:

$250,000.00 in the 2017-18 fiscal year for planning, design, development and assessments of Yukon.ca website.

$75,000.00 for ongoing annual maintenance and support of our web platforms. This is approximately half of the annual maintenance and support costs for the government’s current web publishing platform.

$33,000.00 for the development of a content migration strategy, provision of training sessions for government staff and a quality assurance review of content.

The visual identity includes a new wordmark, design standards, typefaces, colours, visual elements and templates. It is intended to represent the territory and the people who live here, and highlights Yukon’s uniqueness, history and culture.

Costs of the visual identity:
- $38,590 for an audit of existing government branding.
- $76,880 to develop a complete visual identity for the Government of Yukon, including a new logo, brand standards and other materials.
- $20,000 to develop templates and additional graphic elements.
