New light duty zero-emission vehicles

Get from $3,000 to $5,000 back on qualifying zero-emission vehicles

Qualifying new vehicles include those operated by:

  • battery-electric motor;
  • hydrogen fuel cell motor; and
  • plug-in hybrid electric motor.

Get $10,000 back on medium or heavy duty zero-emission commercial vehicles

Qualifying vehicles must be:

  • new;
  • used as a commercial vehicle;
  • class 2B or above with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 3856kg or more;
  • registered in the Yukon; and
  • purchased by an eligible applicant.

Electric vehicle charging stations

Electric vehicle charging stations available for public use

The Government of Yukon is electrifying travel on the Yukon’s roadways. We're installing electric vehicle fast-charging stations to serve road-accessible Yukon communities. These fast charging stations are available for free public use year-round, 24 hours a day.

Get money back for installing Level 2 charging stations

Get 50 to 90 per cent of installation costs back when you install a qualifying charger at:

  • homes;
  • apartments;
  • multi-residential buildings;
  • community buildings;
  • commercial buildings;
  • First Nations government-owned buildings; and
  • municipality-owned buildings.

New electric transportation devices

Get up to a maximum of $750 to $2,500 back on qualifying new electric transportation devices

The e-transportation device must be:

  • powered by an electric battery or motor;
  • intended to transport people; and
  • new and purchased from a business operating in Canada.
