The Bid Challenge Committee is made up of volunteers from the supplier community who are tasked with hearing bid challenge complaints. The committee includes a chair, alternate chair and up to 10 members. Each panel appointed to hear a complaint consists of the chair and 2 committee members. Where possible, a minimum of one First Nation member will serve on a 3-person board.
If you are interested in joining the committee, knowledge of public procurement and Yukon’s business community would be an asset.

How members are selected
Members are appointed by a Minister, Cabinet or the Legislative Assembly.
School board and school council members can be elected or, in some cases, appointed.

Some boards and committees members are required to hold certain professional qualifications or affiliations.
