If you harvest firewood or timber for commercial purposes, you must report your harvest volume. Your cutting permit will specify when you need to report your harvest.
You may not be able to apply for future commercial harvest licences if you do not report your harvest volume.
If you harvest firewood or timber for personal use, you do not need to report your harvest volume. You must get a free permit to cut firewood for your home.

You’ll need your Yukon corporate registry number to report your harvest volume. You’ll be prompted on your permits requiring reporting.
You can search for your corporate registry number online using the Yukon Corporate Online Registry system.

- Enter your Yukon corporate registry number.
- Follow the voice prompts to complete your reporting.
- Complete the harvest report form.
- Email your completed form to forestrypermitting@yukon.ca.
In person
- Complete the harvest report form.
- Submit your completed form at your local Compliance, Monitoring and Inspections office.
