We offer support for mental health disorders and substance use.
Referred Care Clinic
Our Referred Care Clinic is a primary care clinic for vulnerable adults with:
- unstable mental health; or
- substance use disorders.
We serve people who:
- do not have a primary care provider, such as a doctor; and
- rely on outreach services.
How do you access this service?
Our Referred Care Clinic only accepts referrals from:
- Mental Wellness and Substance Use Services nurses;
- the Whitehorse General Hospital’s attending physician;
- psychiatrists in the Yukon; and
- overdose prevention coordinator (oopc@yukon.ca).
All referrals will be assessed for appropriateness by the Referred Care Clinic's lead physician and nurse practitioner.

If you're interested in changing or managing your opioid drug use with the help of medical intervention, this clinic can help.

Opioid overdose prevention coordinator
The opioid overdose prevention coordinator can help you if you're interested in:
- accessing naloxone kits; or
- learning more about harm reduction tools available in Yukon
