The Find a primary care provider service connects residents of Whitehorse and surrounding areas with primary care providers who are accepting new patients.
To use this service, you must:
- have a valid Yukon Health Care Insurance Plan (YHCIP);
- be 16 years old or older; and
- not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner.
Adults can enrol their partners in the program. Parents or guardians can enrol their dependents under the age of 19. Your partner or dependents must live at your address.
Register together to be matched with the same family doctor or nurse practitioner.

Do you need sexual or reproductive health support?
The Yukon Sexual Health Clinic is a private clinic that offers sexual and reproductive health services to all genders and orientations.
You do not need a referral from another health-care provider.
They are located in the Whitehorse Medical Clinic at 406 Lambert Street in Whitehorse.

Do you need menopause health support?
The Yukon Women’s MidLife Health Clinic is a specialty clinic that offers menopause-related health care and support to women. This includes women who are experiencing perimenopause or are beyond menopause.
You do not need a referral from another health-care provider.
