All corporations providing dental, physiotherapy, psychiatric nursing or pharmacy services in the Yukon must:
- register;
- hold a Yukon permit; and
- renew their permit every year.

A professional corporation permit allows you to:
- advertise or provide dental, physiotherapy, psychiatric nursing or pharmacy services through a corporation; and
- work to the full extent of Yukon regulations.
Eligibility
You must meet all of the following requirements before you apply for a professional corporation permit.
- You've completed the request for confirmation of eligibility form through the online portal and received confirmation from Professional Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (PLRA).
- You hold a current Yukon licence as a physiotherapist, pharmacist, dentist or registered psychiatric nurse.
- Everyone who will be a director of your professional corporation is currently licensed in the Yukon in the profession you practise.
- Everyone who will hold voting shares with your professional corporation is currently licensed in the Yukon in the profession you practise.
- You've incorporated your business or registered your extra-territorial corporation with the Government of Yukon's Corporate Affairs branch.
Complaints or actions against you
If you or another director in your corporation has had any complaints, disciplinary or criminal action against them:
- we'll assess your eligibility on a case-by-case basis; and
- we may not approve your registration or a permit.
Documents we require
You'll need to provide the following documents with your application. You must provide these in an electronic format such as JPG, PDF or PNG.
All applicants
- Your current government-issued photo ID (not a health care card)
Yukon incorporated business applicants
- A copy of form 1 of your incorporation documents (articles of incorporation)
- A copy of form 8 of your incorporation documents (notice of directors)
- A copy of form 2 of your incorporations documents (address of corporation)
- A copy of the share structure, including share class and names of shareholders
Extra-territorial corporation applicants
- A copy of form 26 of your registration documents (statement of registration)
- A copy of form 27 of your registration documents (notice of attorney for service)
- A certificate of status from your home jurisdiction
- A copy of the share structure, including share class and names of shareholders

Registration (1-time fee): $50
Annual permit fee: $50
Pharmacist corporations
Registration and annual permit fee: $100
Physiotherapist corporations
Registration (1-time fee): $40
Annual permit fee: $100
Psychiatric nursing corporations
Registration (1-time fee): $40
Annual permit fee: $100
Payment
If we approve your application, we'll email you an invoice for your registration and annual permit fee. Once you receive this invoice, you can pay through the portal.

4. Complete the application form and submit.
Tips
- Prepare your documents ahead of time. Save them first as digital files so that they're ready to upload when you apply.
- You can take a picture of a document with your mobile device to submit it as a digital document.
