Continuance into Yukon from another jurisdiction

The name must be approved before submitting the articles of continuance, unless the name of the corporation is going to change to a numbered corporation upon continuance.
Required filings after incorporation, continuance or amalgamation
- Annual return of Yukon corporation
- Notice of change of directors and directors’ addresses
- Notice of change of address of corporation
Other forms you may need
- Notice of change of address of corporation (by person maintaining the registered or records office)
- Notice of resignation of person who maintains registered or records office
- Articles of amendment. In the case of a name change, the name reservation will need to be approved before submitting the articles of amendment.
- Notice of change of shareholders and shareholders’ addresses

- Related articles of incorporation
- Application for authorization to amalgamate with extra-territorial body corporate into another jurisdiction
- Application for authorization to continue into another jurisdiction. This must be accompanied with reasonable proof that the laws of the other jurisdiction authorize the continuance and comply with the conditions set out in section 191(0) of the Business Corporations Act.

Amalgamating a Yukon corporation
- Application for name reservation. This is only required if the corporation's name is changing upon amalgamation to a name other than the name of one of the amalgamating corporations.

Registering an extra-territorial corporation
- Application for name reservation
- Statement for registration as an extra-territorial corporation
- Appointment of attorney for service and alternative attorney of extra-territorial corporation
The name must be approved before submitting the statement for registration (name used in home jurisdiction).
Amalgamating an extra-territorial corporation
- Application for name reservation. This is only required if the corporation's name is changing upon amalgamation to a name other than the name of one of the amalgamating corporations.
- Statement of amalgamation of extra-territorial corporation effected in another jurisdiction
- Statement for registration as an extra-territorial corporation
